After a tenant moved out, the owner of this condo contacted Image Home Renovations to help prepare the property for its next occupant.
Years of normal wear and tear had left the interior feeling dated, and the abundance of stained wood finishes throughout the home created a darker appearance than the owner desired.
The goal was to brighten the space, modernize the appearance, and create a clean, move-in-ready environment without undertaking a major renovation.

The owner wanted a fresh, updated appearance while preserving selected architectural features and finishes throughout the condo.
Many surfaces required repainting, while other areas needed to remain untouched. Achieving clean transitions between painted and unpainted surfaces required careful planning, detailed masking, and precision cut-in work.
Additionally, transforming dozens of stained doors and cabinet doors into a smooth white enamel finish required extensive preparation and attention to detail.

Before any paint was applied, proper preparation was performed throughout the home. The project included:

All stained doors and cabinet doors were thoroughly prepared before finishing. Surfaces were cleaned, sanded, vacuumed using professional HEPA-filtered dust extraction equipment, primed with Sherwin-Williams Shellac Primer, and finished with Sherwin-Williams Emerald coatings to achieve a smooth, durable, furniture-quality appearance. All painting work was completed in the Portland Metro area.
