From an Outdated Hall Bathroom to a Bright, Modern Space
This hall bathroom was completely renovated to improve functionality, update the finishes, and address hidden structural issues discovered during demolition. During the project we uncovered damaged subflooring requiring partial replacement and reinforced the home's floor structure to create a bathroom designed to last for decades.

Project Overview
This project was completed alongside a full renovation of the home's primary bathroom. While the finishes were outdated, the larger concern became apparent after demolition when portions of the original 1960s tongue-and-groove subfloor showed water damage.
The project evolved beyond a cosmetic remodel to include structural improvements beneath both bathrooms — ensuring the new finishes were installed over a sound, reinforced floor system designed to perform for decades.
Reinforced from the ground up
Portions of the original 2x6 tongue-and-groove decking required replacement due to water damage. Sistering members were installed alongside the existing floor framing beneath both bathrooms, along with additional reinforcement blocking to strengthen the floor system before the new finishes were installed.
The result is a bathroom built on a structurally sound foundation — not a remodel that simply covers up underlying problems.

Chrome hardware was selected because it provides a classic appearance that pairs well with virtually any future design refresh — and it remains easy to clean and maintain for years to come.
Hidden Problems Require Lasting Solutions
Many bathroom remodels uncover hidden conditions beneath finished surfaces. Rather than covering up the problem, Image Home Renovations repaired the damaged subfloor and reinforced the framing before installing the new finishes — ensuring the remodel would perform well long-term.
